This club deals with the subject on a similar basis to Council Tax. Thus the comparisons include:

• Cost per heriditament, showing details of enforcement costs
• Workload – properties, relief cases, and other measures such as updates to valuation lists, insolvencies
• Billing and enforcement activities
• Current and prior years’ collection rates
• Contact/Call centre structure.

As with Council Tax, members are also given the chance to compare their in-year collection rates in October.
