The main purpose of this club will be to benchmark the gross weekly cost per resident of each individual home, and to identify the key reasons for difference.
These comparison will be supplemented by further analysis of the staff cost in terms of pay rates, sickness and training, and also by taking account of the use of capacity – i.e. the difference between the cost per resident and the cost per place.
